Jason Alexander Rubio

Jason has a Master’s of Education (MEd), and a Master’s of Public Affairs (MPAff) and has been in the DJ field for over 3 decades. Here is his experience:

• Nightclub owner
• Radio show DJ/host
• Bar/club DJ for numerous bars & clubs over the years 
• Concert & festival organizer/promoter. He’s personally put on over 30 live concerts in the Austin & central Texas area
• Jason has personally done concerts/events with numerous artists over the years, including: Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, Twenty One Pilots, Billy Joel, Kevin Fowler, Casey Donahew, Honeybrowne, Del Castillo, Grupo Massore, Kumbia Kings, and many others! 
• Festivals & major events: Formula One, MotoGP, SXSW, ACL, Austin Oyster Festival, Hillside Concert Series, and others. 
• Jason has personally DJ’ed over 1500 events in the central TX area. (He began learning to DJ at age 13 in 1991). 
• The Austin’s Best DJs team typically does about 200 events per year. Jason does not usually DJ the events unless he is personally requested by clients or if any of the team’s DJs need assistance. 

Jason has also been a certified wedding & event planner since August 2015 and has helped thousands of clients with wedding & event planning tips and advice since 2012 (when ABDJs was founded). He currently writes all of the wedding/event planning tips and blogs to help everyone plan their event, successfully!
