Saturday night, we had a great time providing our bilingual Quinceanera DJ services for a fun Quinceanera at KC Hall, in Taylor, Texas. Mia and all of her friends and family celebrated her Quinceanera (15th birthday). There were a lot of guests present (over 200), which is always great!
Bilingual Quinceanera DJ & MC
We were the Master of Ceremonies and “MCed” the quinceanera ceremonial traditions in English and Spanish. We announced the changing of the shoes, the last doll presentation, presenting of the jewelry and crown, and of course the father/daughter and mother/daughter dances!
Mother/Daughter Dances
More and more, we’re seeing mother/daughter dances and we love it! Mom’s are just as important in their daughter’s life, so we’re glad to see more mother/daughter dances. Mia also danced with all of her uncles, as well.
This is a very traditional ceremony that happens at many quinceaneras. The uncles are all supposed to share responsibility in helping raise the young daughter of their sibling. This ceremony signifies that.
The catered BBQ for dinner was great, and the staff at KC Hall were very friendly and helpful throughout the night. Kudos to their awesome staff! 🙂 The cake looked amazing and it tasted just as amazing! Surprisingly, we actually don’t get tired of cake, even though we seem to eat it every weekend at a wedding or event. haha
Overall, everyone had a great time, and our bilingual Quinceanera DJ, Jaime, did a great job keeping everyone dancing, all night, to their favorite Tejano, Cumbia, Norteno, Top 40, Hip Hop, and more!
As Austin and central Texas’ number one bilingual Quinceanera DJ and Photo Booth rental service, we are fortunate to be a part of these pivotal family moments, every month, all year long! We look forward to our next Quinceanera, this weekend, in Austin, TX. If you’re looking for a bilingual wedding officiant, check out our bilingual wedding officiant Austin page!
