Bohemian Rhapsody – A Great Wedding/Event Song & a New Movie, Soon!

Bohemian Rhapsody Movie!

We recently heard about the new movie, “Bohemian Rhapsody,” coming out this November. We’re pretty excited, honestly. Who doesn’t LOVE Queen or Freddie Mercury? Freddie Mercury is certainly one of the most legendary rock singers of all time. His voice is very unique and powerful!

Ramik Malek stars in “Bohemian Rhapsody” as Freddie Mercury, and he certainly looks the part! Here’s the official trailer, if you want to take a moment to watch it. Besides being a movie, of course, “Bohemian Rhapsody” is one of Queen’s most well-known songs and a great song to play at any wedding, party, or event. Even when we do Karaoke, this song is ALWAYS requested.

We have ve never seen anyone sing it quite as amazing as Freddie Mercury, but that doesn’t stop anyone from trying to sing this classic song. We’ve played this song at weddings, during dinner, cocktail hour, during the dance, and even as a fun couple entrance and exit song!

Other Popular Queen Wedding Songs

Our team of DJs also often plays other great Queen classics for weddings and events, too. We often play:

  1. “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” (this is often requested for the prelude or cocktail/dinner)

2. “Another One Bites the Dust,” (this is often requested as a garter toss song, and sometimes a couple’s entrance song)

3. “Somebody to Love” – This is often requested for  Prelude, dinner, or cocktail hour. (Be sure to check out our cocktail hour playlist suggestions article, for great cocktail hour songs to play).

4. “You’re My Best Friend.” (this is one of the most requested songs for wedding ceremonies, prelude, cocktail hour, dinner, couple entrance/exit). We’ve even used instrumental versions of these songs, for ceremonies, too.

We’re looking forward to the movie. November will be here before you know it! Until then, we’ll keep playing the Queen hits! Rest in peace, Freddie Mercury! Gone, but certainly never forgotten!
