2023 Wedding Playlist Songs

If you’re searching for great wedding playlist songs for your 2023 wedding, we’ve got you covered! We just updated several of our blogs and YouTube playlists to help you plan your wedding. We’ve created a few new playlists to make the wedding planning process a breeze. If you’re looking for the perfect songs for your 360 booth, the reception songs playlists are a good place to start!

It goes without saying, wedding planning is hard! You literally have to dedicate a few hours per week to planning the big day. It’s seriously like taking on a part-time job! So now, you have to balance your job or school, and a new part-time job! 🙂 Luckily, we’re here to help.

We took the most-requested wedding playlist songs and created playlists on YouTube for you to listen to the songs. For many of the songs, we included the lyric video, if you want to actually read the lyrics to the songs. So let’s get to the playlists.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception Playlist

The first part of the wedding is the ceremony and pre-ceremony music. Many people often forget that music should be playing when the guests begin to arrive. We usually play music for about 15-30 minutes.

This helps in case people are running late, makeup is taking longer, etc. We’ll keep playing music until everyone is ready. The music helps people relax, versus just awkward silence.

We created a playlist of 20 non-traditional wedding processional/recessional songs. Here is the link to the YouTube Wedding Ceremony playlist.

If you are perhaps at work (most people plan their weddings at work) and can’t listen to the songs, you can visit our blog for the “wedding ceremony processional/recessional playlist,” so you can simply read it.

Songs for Wedding Playlist

Besides the ceremony, there is the wedding reception. Believe it or not, many people forget that there is music playing throughout the entire wedding! From the guest’s arrival to the last song, we’re playing music the entire time!

This means you have to think about pre-ceremony songs, cocktail hour music, dinner music, and of course the reception/dance music! That’s easily about 5 hours worth of music! You can work with your DJ or band, to give them an idea of what you want, or you can make your own list of wedding playlist songs.

We recommend making a wedding playlist. This helps to ensure that your wedding includes the songs you know and love. Sure, you can leave it up to the DJ, but he or she may not know your personality or favorite songs/artists. So either tell the DJ your music preferences or make a few wedding playlists.

Check out our blog articles for example playlists. Simply click the title to view the playlists, below.
