Do you DJ? If not, here’s how you can become a DJ in less than 5 minutes!

So it’s late 2020, and we’re still in a pandemic, unfortunately. Some people have decided to take advantage of all of the extra time that have and learn things they’re interested in. Whether it’s signing up for a college class, taking free trainings online, or even learning to DJ, now is a great time to do it!

A question many people have still asked me is: do you DJ? The answer is yes, of course, and You DJ is actually a very cool website! If you want to easily mix music and sound like a pro with a ZERO learning curve, visit now!

How You DJ Works

This website is pretty awesome, I must admit. You can literally sound as good as the professional DJs, without the years of learning and experience! The site has a list of music and you simply click the left or right arrow to load it into the left or right side. The record begins playing, and you then find another song to mix into the first one.

You literally will do exactly what us professional DJs do, but without any experience at all! The beauty of this website is that it syncs the BPMs (beats per minute) for you, taking the guesswork out of making your songs mix/blend easily. You will be able to mix like the pro DJs on you DJ, and sound amazing, every time!

I’m seriously curious if any DJs set up a wifi hot spot and use this at real events? haha Hey, it could happen! The DJ could literally rock a party and only use this, and NO ONE would ever know!

Mixing Different Genres & Tempos on You.DJ

I even tried to mix songs that were very different genres and tempos (dance with Salsa) and it mixed a 125 BPM song with a 90 BPM song easily, and it sounded great! There are tempo sliders that are easy to use, along with the visual cues, so if you want to change the tempos for even better mixes, it’s easy to do!

The music “crates” have a variety of music genres, including EDM, Dance, House, Dubstep, Deep/Chill, Hip Hop, and more! You can have hours of fun on this site. Trust me, I already have! The music is limited, but it’s still a lot of fun to get the feel of what DJing actually is. It’s a ton of fun!

Optional Upgrades

You DJ has several options, ranging from free to $29.99 total. The more it costs, the more features are offered. Their $29 version allows you to use it professionally, and use it with your computer, tablet, and phone! You get samples, recording features, sound effects, video mixing, and more. They even offer a handy Google Chrome extension.

If you just want to learn what it’s like, the free version is totally perfect for you! Shout out to the creators of You DJ, it’s an awesome site!
