Kickball Tournament at Cypress Hills Elementary - Spicewood, TX
This past weekend, we provided our DJ, photo booth, uplighting and monogram services for a few fun weddings and events! Friday, we kicked off the weekend with a fun Kickball Tournament at Cypress Hills Elementary, in Spicewood, TX. Our DJ, Phil, did a great job playing their favorite music and hosting this fun event! Phil also hosts weekly Trivia, so he was the perfect fit for this event! The tournament was a blast and we're glad we were able to help them have such a fun event! We look forward to their next event!
Lawn & Giant Game Rentals at Mercury Hall - Austin, TX
Friday, we also provided a few fun games for a wedding at Mercury Hall, in Austin, TX. The newlyweds and all of their friends & family had fun playing the games after the ceremony, during cocktail hour and dinner!
Wedding at Inspiring Oaks Ranch - Wimberley, TX
Saturday, we had fun providing our DJ, photo booth, uplighting, and a monogram for a fun wedding at Inspiring Oaks Ranch, in Wimberley, Texas . Though it was raining, early that day, it turned out to be great weather during the wedding! The blue uplighting looked great, along with the custom monogram, and we also added personalized bubbles for the send-off!
Our DJ, Jaime, did a great job, playing a mix of music, including: Country, Texas Country, Top 40, 90's, Tejano, Cumbia and more! Jaime kept the guests dancing, all night! Amy did a great job keeping the guests entertained at the photo booth!

Wedding at Villa St. Clair - Austin, TX
Saturday, we also had a fun wedding at Villa St. Clair, in Austin, TX. We provided a DJ and photo booth for Mr. & Mrs. Robinson. The newlyweds and all of their family and friends had a great time dancing, with our DJ, Ben, playing all of their favorite Country, Texas Country, Hip Hop, Tejano, R&B, 90's, Latin, and more!
Valerie kept the guests entertained, taking selfies, at our photo booth. Thanks to Marie and Kim, from Villa St. Clair, for all of their help with planning and coordination, for this wedding. Congrats, again, Mr. & Mrs. Robinson!

A Fun Wedding at Scottish Rite Theater
Friday night, we had a blast providing a DJ and photo booth for this fun wedding, at Scottish Rite Theater, in Austin, Texas. This was our first time at this venue, and it was a very unique experience! We loved the entire place! The decor, the furniture and of course the theater, were all very beautiful!
Our couple also hired a live band, to perform for the first part of the reception. They did a great job! We provided music for the remaining 4 hours. Jason and Diana DJed the reception, and Amy kept the guests entertained, taking selfies at the photo booth! It was a great, memorable night! Congrats, again, to Leonel & Marisa!
A Great, July Wedding at Texas Old Town - Kyle, TX
Saturday, we had a blast providing a DJ for a fun wedding at Texas Old Town, in Kyle, Texas. This couple had a rustic wedding theme and it looked great! We loved their guest sign-in wood stump! Their cakes looked great, too! Jason and Diana personally worked this wedding and kept everyone dancing to their favorite: Texas Country, Country, Norteno, Cumbia, Bachata, and Pop hits!
Everyone danced every song, from start to finish! We're so glad everyone had fun. Congratulations, Ilse and Frank! :)
An Awesome Quinceanera, at American Legion - Austin, TX
Saturday night, we also provided a photo booth for a fun quinceanera, in south Austin, at the American Legion Hall. Amy kept the guests entertained at the photo booth, all night! All the guests took pictures the entire time the photo booth was open. As always, the photo booth was a huge hit! We want to wish a happy birthday, again, to Abigail!
Overall, it was a fun weekend of events! We look forward to doing it all over again, soon!

The most popular entertainment option for weddings and events, besides a DJ, is a photo booth rental (also sometimes spelled as photobooth). Well over 60% of our bookings are for both a DJ and photo booth. Some call it a "picture booth," and others may call it a "selfie booth." Whatever you call it, a photo booth is a great, fun entertainment option! Your guests are sure to have hours of fun, taking selfies with a photo booth!
Photo Booth Rental Cost
If you decide to add a photo booth to your event, you definitely need to know the cost. Every photo booth company offers different options, for different prices. You'll find some really expensive photo booth rates, and some really cheap photo booth deals on sites like Craigslist or Groupon, but be cautious! We've booked plenty of DJ and photo booth gigs at the last minute, because that client booked someone else, who simply took their money.
It's very hard to believe that people do this, but it happens more often than you think. We're not knocking either of these sites, as they are simply platforms for vendors to advertise and acquire business. We are knocking the unprofessional vendors who do this to clients, month after month! :(
So let's get back to the cost.The photo booth rental cost in the Austin and central Texas area (and most other markets in the US) ranges from as low as $250, to as much as $1,000, for a 3 - 4 hour booking. The best way to compare is to find out what's included with each company. We are very experienced and offer the exact same photo booths as the companies who only provide photo booths. Our rates are actually less than what you should expect to pay for a well experienced professional, which is $794. Wow, what a great deal! We really need to reconsider our DJ and photo booth pricing. haha :)
The biggest difference between the $250 photo booth and the $1,000 photo booth is usually what's included, as well as how well known the company is. The newer companies often start off with lower prices, simply to "get their name out there" and get as many bookings as possible. Some companies will use the old "bait and switch" routine, using the lower price to get your attention, but include next to nothing for the $300. You'll likely have to pay extra for props, a non-white (plain) backdrop, printouts, etc. Be sure to ask questions about what's included, and read all the fine print in the contract, if there is one. If there's not a contract, and it's a low price, RUN! :)
The more established companies (the companies you'll find on page 1 of Google), have been in business longer or are often part of a national franchise (which means they have the advantage of multiple locations, nationwide and much more website traffic, due to this). I won't get into how this all works, because that's an entirely different blog, but it's basically due to SEO and website traffic. :) These companies are going to be the ones that likely charge you closer to the $1000 price. Not to say that they don't offer a great product, because they certainly do, but definitely do your homework and compare photo booth companies and narrow down your list to your top 3.
