One of the fun, important traditions for weddings in the US, is the bridal Bouquet Toss! Though it only lasts a few minutes, this is always such a fun part of the wedding! The struggle that many brides face is choosing one of the many bouquet toss song choices out there. This is something that almost no one thinks of until they are planning their wedding, of course. 🙂 Other questions we get are “do we only choose one song or two songs? The answer is up to you, of course.Â
Choose a Song That Fits You
We want our clients to choose the song that best fits them and their personal style. Not everyone will want the same song, of course, but to highlight the moment, we often play a fun song, that fits the moment.
Here are the best bouquet toss songs, as chosen by couples nationwide. If you want to hear the song, feel free to visit our Austin’s Best DJs YouTube Channel for this exact playlist (just click the link).

Bouquet Alternatives
If you’re wanting other ideas, besides tossing your bouquet of flowers, we’ve seen a few different things over the years. We’ve seen games, played, such as couple trivia. The person who gets the most questions right, wins the bouquet.
We’ve seen balls thrown, like footballs, basketballs, volleyballs, etc. The couples were into sports, so they decorated the balls and threw these instead! They’re also much easier to throw! 🙂
A Mexican cultural tradition is “La Vibora Del Mar.” This is a game, where the newlyweds will hold the bride’s veil (or whatever else they’d like to hold), while standing on chairs. They leave a space of about 5 feet between the couple. The wedding party members will stand beside the bride/groom and try to hold them up, as people walk, then run through the space between them.
This represents the couple’s strength that they must have, together, as they begin their journey as a newly married couple. Here’s a video to see it in action, here.
